My Mum used to date Paul Kossoff from the band Free, and I’m named after the song ‘My brother Jake’.
Describe your perfect Sunday.
Up early (young family, no choice!), music on, scrambled eggs on toast followed by a dog walk in the Heavens, then an hour or two tinkering with my hifi if I can get away with it.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
Sleep on it – you very rarely have to make an important decision on the spot. Particularly relevant, as I can be a bit impulsive!
Your dream dinner party guest?
The legend that is David Attenborough.

Almost 5 years.
What do you love most about your job?
Handing over keys on completion after doing a great job for our clients.
What’s the most surprising fact about you? I used to play semi-professional football.

Not having to get up when the alarm goes off! A bit of sport (or lots if I can get away with it) a walk, pit-stop in the pub then a good Sunday roast.

Be a great listener, it’s a massively underrated skill in life and work.

How long have you lived in the Stroud valleys?
I went to school at Marling. I then moved on to Marling & Stroud High School Sixth Form and I’ve just bought my first house here, so now have first hand experience of the buying process.
What do you love most about your job?
The thing I enjoy most about my job is meeting different people everyday and being able to interact with people from different walks of life!
What’s the most surprising fact about you?
I was once 12th in the world in an online flags quiz.
Describe your perfect Sunday.
The perfect Sunday would have to be (weather depending!) a mixture of catching up on TV or watching local cricket with a pint of cider!

A mistake isn’t a mistake but a lesson learnt.

Since 1988, we lived in Kent before.
What do you love most about your job?
Meeting new people every day.

I act in, and direct, plays and musicals at the Cotswold Playhouse in Stroud.
Describe your perfect Sunday.
A bit of a lie in, walk across the commons (maybe stopping at Winstones ice cream factory on the way round!), roast dinner with my family.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
If you are at a big party or event, or even on a holiday; stop, look around you. Take a mental photograph and you’ll have that as a memory forever.

How long have you lived in the Stroud Valleys?
I live in Wiltshire but Stroud is just so beautiful that I am more than willing to travel here to work.
What do you love most about your job?
I love my colleagues most. They are super friendly people. I remember I was having an extremely busy schedule. My colleague has prepared all the paperwork for me a day ahead. That touches my heart.
What’s the most surprising fact about you?
I am a qualified Violin and French horn teacher, and I can fly a small plane (without license).
Describe your perfect Sunday?
My perfect Sunday is going for a walk in the morning and go out to have Sunday roast with family. At night, I play Dead by daylight (computer game) with friends.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given
Always check the doors are locked once you have completed your viewings, leave the house as you find it.
Your dream dinner party guest? Someone who gets a bit tipsy, I find drunk people so funny!

My family come from Stroud originally and I’ve always had relatives here, but I grew up elsewhere in Gloucestershire. I have lived here since 1989.
What do you love most about your job?
Mostly the variety, no two days are the same, and meeting and helping people. Also the beauty of the area we work in – there are some amazing houses. And being part of the Peter Joy ‘family’.
What’s the most surprising fact about you?
That’s a tough one. Probably that my first boyfriend went on to become a famous musician.
Describe your perfect Sunday.
Going for a lovely walk by the sea or in the country, followed by delicious food and wine, with family or friends.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
If you want a friend, be a friend.

Ricky Wilson from the Kaiser Chiefs. He’s talented, funny and smart. Or Liam Gallagher might be fun – I’d like to discover the sensitive, thoughtful side he shows through his lyrics – although I don’t imagine he’s really the dinner party sort!”

Most love the variety of my role. Dealing with different people on a daily basis and spending so much of my day driving around our beautiful area visiting such a wide variety of Cotswold homes. Also being part of the fabulous family that is ‘Peter

Successfully completed the Dirty Dozen 12k Mud Run complete with 20 hideous obstacles. Still
